Merciful Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi responded to the requests from his beloved students and organized a Healthier Esoteric Dharma Convention again at New York’s Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel on September 24. The aim of the Convention was to save more predestined beings from sufferings of sicknesses and afflictions, and to enlighten them. The event was exceptionally spectacular even though this was already the second time to hold such a convention in the city.

Participants continued to enter the hall even two hours after the Convention started. They did not want to lose this precious opportunity. Some of them were introduced by their friends and relatives who had been benefited from the 5-day dharma classes; some received our leaflets or read the advertisement on the paper. Their purpose was to listen to real Dharma and learn the real Esoteric Dharma cultivation. They all wanted to receive the blessings and assistance from the Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. Therefore, many of them registered for the 5-day Esoteric Dharma Class right after the Convention. They did not dare to miss the chance again which would make them regret for the entire life. They were among the luckiest ones to have this second chance. Besides new participants, students from last class as well as some old fellows from New York also gathered in the hall, with a hope that they could receive the blessings from the Master again. There were some old students who came all the way from Boston. They were all benefited from the Dharma and therefore treasured every chance to meet the Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. There was no surprise that the Dharma class venue was so full and crowded.

Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi mercifully granted Esoteric Dharma which helped to improve the health of students, allowing them to be freed from worldly afflictions sooner.

Among the students, Ms Lau was an alumnus who had been suffering from insomnia for 20 years. After the treatment and cultivation in the previous class, she could sleep for four consecutive hours without any medication. However her condition fluctuated and she was resentful, Holy Master therefore blessed her again with Buddha light. She could then sleep till the next morning without taking medicine. Holy Master enlightened her to let her understand that her illness was actually stemmed in her karma. The only ways to cure it were cultivation and doing good deeds. She understood that she had to retain merits by herself, and that her fluctuating condition was due to her lack of faith and confidence.

Yuan Shi was the abbot of Guan Yin Temple, a Converted Disciple of Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. Three days and nights were not enough for her to describe all her sufferings and illnesses in the past. Her family always opposed to her cultivation of Guang Huan Mi Zong. However she persisted and even got tonsured to become a nun in the Guang Huan Mi Zong Great Hero Shrine Hall in 2002. She found that her two tumors that had been with her for 30 years disappeared now. She was filled with tears of gratitude. She vowed to establish the Guan Yin Temple in the West, in order to save more people in the world. On September 2005, the Guan Yin Temple officially opened in Brooklyn, NY. She was so moved to see that her husband and son, who once opposed to her cultivation, came to burn the first incense and made a donation. Looking back, she knew her persistence with Guang Huan Mi Zong was a right decision, and she was relieved that her choice was finally accepted by her family.

42-year-old Ms Chen used to have painful arms and sciatica. Both problems were gone after treatment from Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. She could now stride three steps while she couldn’t even stride in the past.

59-year-old Ms Liang had imbalanced lumbar vertebra, it was back to balance after four days of treatment. Her lumbago also recovered a lot in two days. Her 30-year neck and leg pain reduced obviously, and she could sing much better than before.

Ms Gao, 43 years old, had been suffering from hemorrhoids for many years. She had surgery but it could not cure the illness. Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi healed it in three days.

Ms Huang, 38 years old, was energized after three days of treatment with Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi. Her spinal pain disappeared and the allergic rhinitis improved.

49-year-old Ms Zhou had encountered some problems when making other practices, leaving her the problem of illusion. It was gone after three days of treatment by Master Ziguang Shang Shi, which also removed her headache and fatigue.

Mr Yuen, 53 years old, had been suffering from headache, ear and hand numbness, nose bleeding and had the symptoms of stroke. After three days of treatment by Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, his headache was cured, the frequency of nose bleeding decreased, ear and hand numbness reduced. He felt air floating on top of his head during cultivation and was amazed by the greatness of Esoteric Dharma. He vowed to build a Kshitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple (God of Earth Temple).

66-year-old Ms Liu’s right leg was painful on the first day of class. She had to stand up and sit down slowly to reduce the pain. One hour after listening to the dharma of Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, she could stand up in an instant without any pain. She was so surprised and felt that she was as light as a swallow flying on the sky. She immediately knelt and bowed to the Master and asked for conversion.

The 5-day dharma class finally ended successfully on September 28. Everyone was reluctant to leave, because they did not know when they could meet the Holy Master again…
